Forum Recording Studios

Recording Studio

With access to the various rooms around the venue, we are able to record a variety of sounds, ranging from wooden rooms, dead rooms and the venue hall.

The variety and scale of our facilities allows us to record in any way you wish, whether that be live tracking, isolated live tracking, overdubbing and many more.

All of the rooms around the venue have Van Damme cables running straight into our control room, allowing us to track in any room with ease.

We run a hybrid work flow at the studio; we track through iconic analogue preamps/ mixing console (see equipment list) into Pro Tools (or the DAW of your choice).

We also offer high quality mixing and mastering at the studio. We can record and mix onsite, or if you have externally recorded tracks, we can offer multi track mixing and stereo mastering.

History of The Forum

The Forum opened as a new music venue in January 1993 in a building on Tunbridge Wells Common which had been built as a public cold bath and was subsequently a public toilet and then a brass rubbing centre. It has since hosted a number of acts who have gone on to achieve significant commercial success such as, Oasis, Adele, Green Day, Ellie Goulding, Slaves and many more.
